Another useful tip is that in case you have to vacuum wall-to-wall carpeting, then the smart thing to do would be to divide the floor into quadrants and vacuum an entire quadrant before moving on to the next. In that way, as we already mentioned in the previous post ,you’d be sure that you’ve cleaned everywhere and haven’t forgotten a spot or two… or maybe more? Also, remember to take your time when you vacuum a carpet, especially a plush carpet in which dirt is sure to be deeply embedded. One pass with a high-powered upright is not enough. Go over each section of carpeting several times, and work slowly to allow the suction to remove all the ground-in dust and dirt. Again, think about the expenses of buying a new carpet!
