Underarm stains look awful and often make us feel uncomfortable, even embarrassed. Sweating is a part of our nature and it’s really difficult not to sweat. Although there are several ways to decrease the impact sweating has on your clothes, none of them can absolutely prevent sweaty stains from appearing. Fortunately, you can get rid of the yellow stains and restore the original look of your clothes.
Yellow stains are caused when antiperspirant and sweat build on fabric. To remove them, first you need to rinse the stains well with cold water. This way you’ll dilute the trapped acids and salt. To make your cloth fantastic clean again, you need to apply any liquid laundry detergent that contains enzymes on the yellow stains and allow it to sit for about 15 minutes. Then wash the clothes with hot water. You may use fabric-safe bleach.
Sweat itself doesn’t have any smell, but the bacteria living on your skin make it stinky. Most laundry detergent will remove the odours from your fabric, add a cup of baking soda to your washing machine before running a cycle. Baking soda is a powerful odour remover that can eliminate any bad smells from your clothes.
Keeping your clothes clean and smelling fresh will make you feel comfortable. Remember that sweating is a part of our nature and yellow stains are something we can hardly ignore, but proper maintenance will significantly reduce the cases of ugly yellow stains causing embarrassment.
